Multi-country (LatAm)

5 min readUpdated Jul 4, 2026Applies since v2.0

Repartya operates across several LatAm countries. Currency, timezone, language and tax rules come from your company's settings, not the device. One product adapts to each country without changing how you work.

Settings rule, not the device

Country, currency, timezone and tax scheme come from the company settings. No "Mexico-only" assumptions: each company sees what fits its country.

What changes by country

Four things adapt automatically to the company's country:

  • Currency: each company operates in its local currency (MXN, COP, PEN, CLP…).
  • Timezone: dates, "today" and cash-ups use the company's timezone.
  • Taxes: the tax scheme depends on the country (in Mexico, CFDI 4.0).
  • Formats: date, number and separators follow the local convention.

Timezone and dates

The app uses the company's timezone, not the phone's. That way "today", reports and the daily cash-up line up for the whole team even if someone's device is set to another time.

Don't rely on the phone's clock

If your phone is in another timezone (travel or a wrong setting), the app still uses the company's to compute cash-ups and reports. That's intentional, so the numbers add up.

Currency and prices

Each company has one currency. Price lists, receivables and payments are handled in that currency, with no automatic conversions between countries. A rep always sees prices and balances in their company's currency.

Taxes and invoicing

The tax scheme is defined per country. In Mexico, the invoice is CFDI 4.0 and is stamped on web: see CFDI is stamped on web. In other countries, Repartya applies the corresponding scheme; check with your administrator which one your company uses.

Common issues

  • I see a wrong date or time: check the timezone set for your company, not the phone's.
  • The currency isn't mine: your user belongs to another company or country; confirm with your administrator.
  • Tax terms that don't apply show up: the scheme is defined per country in the company settings.
