Check-in & geofence
To log a visit you must be physically at the customer's business. Repartya validates your location with a geofence: if you're outside the radius, check-in is blocked.
What the geofence is
It's a radius around the customer's location. When you start a visit, the app compares your GPS position with that radius to confirm you're actually there. That keeps the team's visits real and verifiable.
Outside the geofence: blocked
If you're outside the radius, check-in is not allowed: it's not just a warning. This prevents logging visits without being at the point of sale. If the customer's location is wrong, it must be re-set on their profile: see Customers.
Turn on location
Grant the app location permission and keep GPS on. Indoors it may take a few seconds to fix your position.
Common issues
- I'm at the business and it won't let me: the customer's saved location may be wrong; re-set it from their profile.
- GPS doesn't locate me: turn on location and grant the app permission; wait a few seconds indoors.
- I have no signal: GPS works without data; you can check in and the visit syncs later.
